Evan H. Levey, Chief Cabinet Officer
As an entrepreneur with a proven track record, Evan started Columbia Cabinets just before graduating from Rollins College in Florida. Growing up in New York City, he concentrated on learning what went into making a company successful. With a good eye to spot investment opportunities, Evan utilizes his expertise of the technical operations side of businesses to oversee many properties, including Columbia Cabinets. Evan and his wife, Marissa, recently welcomed their first born daughter, Blake and are enjoying every minute of being new parents!
Ray Roberts, Showroom Director
Originally from Schenectady, NY, Ray has been involved with cabinetry and design since high school. As a senior designer for Columbia Cabinets, he excelled at the challenges of designing a functional and, at the same time, aesthetically pleasing kitchen. Ray now oversees the design process and operations in all of Columbia Cabinets’ showrooms. Ray and his wife, Danielle, along with their toddler Jack, recently welcomed Gabriella to their family, a beautiful baby girl!
Grace Mattoon, New Business Development
Grace knows her way around a kitchen! Her father was an executive chef and her family all love to cook. The kitchen, as for many of us, is the heart of Grace’s home and she has a passion for discovering new flavors and techniques. Grace’s skills are on the administrative side of the business and she loves to support Columbia Cabinets’ talented team of designers. Grace studied classical music in college and her favorite opera is Carmen by Bizet.
Amy Van Wie, Senior Designer
Amy brings a creative edge to her designs here at Columbia Cabinets. She grew up in East Greenbush, NY and graduated from Cazenovia College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design. Her interest in design began as a child when she received her Barbie mansion. From there, her love for textures, colors and seeing how a room came together grew. When she’s not designing, Amy has been competing in dart tournaments since she was 9 years old. She now competes professionally along the east coast and plays in the local league at Quigley’s in East Greenbush, NY.
Sarah McDonald, Designer
Sarah has been creatively designing kitchens for over ten years. Prior to becoming a kitchen designer, she worked as an interior decorator, tying together entire rooms, from paint and wallpaper selections to flooring, lighting and accessories. This experience of focusing on the entire picture makes Sarah particularly well suited for multi-room millwork projects. Sarah grew up in England which adds a historical sensitivity to her designs, When Sarah is not designing, she is instructing Zumba classes, taking amazing photographs, gardening or hiking with her husband and children.
Kristen Larbour, Designer
Having worked in the field for over ten years, Kristen funnels her vast knowledge about products for the home into her meticulous designs. Her favorite part of the process is revisiting a client’s “dream” when a project is complete and confirming that she did indeed make it come true! Kristen lives with three four-legged “kids” and loves to camp on the islands of Lake George.
Angela Hoskins, Designer
Having received an A.A.S Degree from Sage in Interior Design, a B.A. in Studio Art with a concentration in photography from SUNY Potsdam, a M.S. Ed. in Elementary Education, also from SUNY Potsdam, and an A.A.S in Business Administration online, Angela determined her passion was helping customers design their dream kitchens and baths. Angela has been working in design for over 15 years while raising three beautiful children, Cayla and her twins, Brayden and Jyllian. A lover of the outdoors, Angela’s family enjoys hiking, kayaking, snowboarding and swimming.
Steven Jackoski, Designer
Beginning his career as a Danish cabinetmaker’s apprentice, Steve has been in the cabinetry and kitchen design business for over 35 years. His expertise, honed over decades of experience, continues to evolve through his passion for exploring new design trends and products. Nothing is more satisfying for Steve than to now be designing third generation clients in the Saratoga and Lake George areas. Steve and his wife and son love living in the great casual community of Cleverdale and enjoy traveling the globe in search of unique cultural experiences.
Nancy Knight,Administrative Assistant
Nancy comes to Columbia Cabinets with over 25 years of administrative experience. That coupled with her passion for everything about food—cooking, testing new recipes on dinner guests, being in the kitchen, watching the Food Network—makes her a terrific resource for our designers. Nancy is originally from Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, home of the 2nd largest Oktoberfest next to Munich!
